Chief Complaint: Ptosis
a. History: Diplopia and dysarthria that fluctuate in intensity and tend to worsen as the day progresses. Edrophonium (an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor) is administered, and, after a minute, there is a striking improvement in muscle strength.
